Jane Fonda, Sam Elliott, Lily Tomlin, Glenn Close, Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas, among others, lead the pack at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild nominees announced Wednesday morning.

While it’s an impressive showing for the 45-plus demo, how’s this for a surprising snub: Nary a mention of the recently retired Robert Redford, 82, for his drama The Old Man & the Gun, despite having received a Best Actor nod for the Golden Globes last week.

As it stands, 84-year-old Alan Arkin holds the distinction of being the year’s oldest nominee, earning a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his part in the Netflix series The Kominsky Method. He faces off against his Method co-star, Michael Douglas, 74, and Henry Winkler, 73, for his role in HBO’s Bill Hader comedy, Barry, for which he won an Emmy Award in September.

Canadian actress Sandra Oh, 47, is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her critically-acclaimed role in Killing Eve. Its a big year for the Ontario-born actress, who will share hosting duties with Andy Samberg at the upcoming Golden Globes ceremony. Oh faces some stiff competition at the SAGs, however, squaring off against Robin Wright, 52, for the final season of Netflix’s House of Cards, Laura Linney, 54, in Ozark and Elisabeth Moss, 36, in The Handmaid’s Tale.

Although he’s not in the 45-plus age demo just yet, how about a special shout-out to Rami Malek, 37, who landed an Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Performance nomination for bringing rocker Freddie Mercury to life in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, which is also in the running for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
