Big Apple Sleepover

Downtown meets Uptown at the new Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC

An unobstructed view of the Empire State Building?
A plunge pool 20 stories above Park Avenue?
Yes, all this and more will now be possible in the city that never sleeps.

This July, the proprietors of the uber popular Gansevoort Hotel in the city’s tony meatpacking district, credited with a hand in the revitalization of that neighbourhood, will open the doors on its Park Avenue and 29th Street location. With 249 generously sized guestrooms at a larger-than-NYC standard 475 square feet, the hotel is hoping that the Murray Hill location will act as the perfect midway post, bridging downtown and uptown fans, giving travelers more choice and walking-distance convenience to shopping, hot restaurants and famed attractions and museums.

Oh, and that view and the pool we promised? Just head to the top of the hotel to its Plunge Rooftop Bar + Lounge, with its heated indoor/outdoor pool, tri-level bar and a vista of some of the city’s most intriguing architectural wonders, including the Empire State Building.

Introductory rates at Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC will start at C$423 per night from July 19 to September 7. After September 7, 2010, the rates at Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC will start from C$530 per night.
