Fashion Thursday: Staying Power

When it comes to fashion, a trend that is cool this week, can quickly become “so last season” the next. Yes, it can be challenging to keep up. But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it? There are some trends, though, that seem to keep coming back. Or, perhaps have never really left. But there’s one thing we know, when a particular style has staying power, it’s usually because it works. Animal print is both classic and fun which is probably why it has never really gone out of style. Whether on a scarf, purse, or even pants – it will be sure to bring life to even the dullest of outfits. Just remember, it is only chic when worn in moderation so avoid wearing too much at once!

Pin stripes first became popular in the 1940s. They still look as dapper today as they did then!

That 70’s style flare is back in a big way.  Which isn’t surprising as flared pants flatter all body-types, elongating and slimming the legs. This is definitely a wardrobe staple!

Believe it or not the stylish leather bomber dates way back to World War II and was once only worn by pilots. Today, it is a wardrobe staple, for men and women. It is the perfect combination of chic, and tough!

Vintage feeling ladylike florals are more popular than ever! If ultra feminine isn’t your thing, toughen it up with a cool jacket or ankle booties.
