Jacqueline Kennedy Interviews to Be Released

There are more secret tapes coming out of Washington, and for the first time, it’s something your mother will want to hear. To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Kennedy administration, John F. and Jacqueline’s daughter Caroline has authorized the release of the tapes to be published in book form in the fall. Recorded in 1964 after the assassination of the president as part of an oral history project, the interviewer and family friend, Arthur Schlesinger Jr., discusses politics and how Jackie felt about her role as one of the youngest first ladies in America.
