Duchess Camilla impressed by Fergie

Duchess Camilla is impressed by Sarah Ferguson’s charity work.
Camilla and her husband Prince Charles became royal presidents of the Elephant Family in 2014, a charity Sarah has been a patron of since 2008, and although she was absent from a reception hosted by the pair in 2015, Camilla has reportedly noted Sarah’s contributions to the foundation with approval.
Camilla’s late brother Mark Shand co-founded the Elephant Family in 2002 and Sarah reportedly agreed with the charity that she would not attend certain events after Charles and Camilla got involved “because of the sensitivities” surrounding their relationship.
Sarah divorced Charles’ brother Prince Andrew over 20 years ago, although the exes have remained friendly.
And Sarah is set to attend an upcoming event for the charity after impressing Camilla.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: “It’s true that Sarah was dropped from the guest list after the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall became presidents, because of the sensitivities involved.
“She came to an agreement with the charity that her name would not appear. She did not want to embarrass anyone.
“However, since then Camilla has been very impressed by Sarah’s work for the charity.”
A spokesman for Elephant Family said: “The Duchess of York’s support for our work has always been hugely appreciated.”
