Z-News – National CARP Flag Day

National Seniors Day celebrates Canada’s booming 65-plus demographic! Instituted by the Federal Government last year, the day was created to pay tribute to the seniors who have helped build our country and continue to make valuable contributions to Canadian communities, workplaces and society.

This year the flag for CARP — a new vision of aging — was raised at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto by CARP President and Zoomer Media Founder Moses Znaimer. CARP is a 350-thousand member advocacy association that works to promote and protect the interests, rights and quality of life for Canadians as we age.
