Popular Coach Harris Passes Away

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are in mourning today for popular assistant head coach Richard Harris, who collapsed and died in his office at Canad Inns Stadium on Tuesday. Harris, 63, who had been with the Bombers since 2006, was immensely popular with his players. “Every man should strive to be the type of man that coach Harris was,” tweeted long-snapper Chris Cvetkovic. Team president Jim Bell echoed these sentiments, saying the team had “lost not only a great coach, but an even better man.”
