Watch: Prince Harry & Rihanna Get HIV Tests To Raise Awareness

Prince Harry joined pop star Rihanna in Barbados to take an HIV test for World AIDS Day.

As the 32-year-old prince’s tour of the Commonwealth island of Barbados came to a close (December 1, 2016), he joined singer Rihanna in volunteering for an HIV test.

 

After waiting for 20 minutes together in line at the drop-in centre, the duo tested negative and took questions from media immediately afterward.

A Kensington Palace spokesman released a statement: “This is a really positive thing to do. This was only arranged last night. Prince Harry asked her at the concert. They spoke after he had given his speech. They spoke for about 15 minutes. She was very happy to do it. She has had people in her life that she has known who have died from AIDS.”
