Songs of Remembrance

In honour of those who served our country. Here, a few songs to help us commemorate those who fought and lost their lives in conflicts past and present

Grief, sadness, gratitude… Sometimes it’s hard to express the emotions we feel on Remembrance Day. Music can help us connect with the past and help us honour the people whose sacrifices won the freedoms we enjoy today.

While “Reveille” and “The Last Post” are mainstays in the Remembrance Day repertoire, there are many tunes that have touched our hearts over the years. Here are a few songs to help us commemorate those who fought and lost their lives in conflicts past and present.

O Valient Hearts

The Recruiting Sergeant (A Tribute to the Blue Puttees)

We’ll Meet Again

Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
