Tall Dogs, Big Mouths, Seniors With Tattoos, Oh My!

Have you heard about some of the latest additions to the 2017 Guinness Book of World Records?

Bernd Schmidt of Germany can effortlessly fit a double patty cheeseburger in his mouth—his gape can open 3.5 inches wide! Think that news is hard to swallow? Consider that Schmidt beat out the previous record-holder by four millimetres. Yikes!

Another new Guinness addition is 67-year-old Charlotte Guttenberg of Melbourne, Florida, who now holds the record of Most Tattooed Senior Citizen. A whopping 91.5 per cent of her body is covered in ink. She’s literally a walking piece of art!

And then there’s Lizzy, the world’s tallest female dog. She lives with her owner Greg Sample in Alva, Florida, and is seven-years-old. Lizzy measures in at 37.96 inches in height. You have to see it to believe it!
