The Wily Veteran

On Sunday afternoon, Bill Lee (formerly of the Boston Red Sox and Montreal Expos) became the oldest pitcher to win a professional baseball game at the age of 63. Lee led the Brockton Rox of the Can-Am League to a 7-3 win over the Worcester Tornadoes and allowed only two runs and five hits in just over five innings on the mound. The game was Lee’s first start in a professional game since 1982.
