Wine Pick of the Week
Tawse Winery Inc. Sketches of Niagara, VQA Niagara Peninsula, Ontario.
Rich and full-bodied with layers of ripe black fruit, smoke and a hint of dark spice. A complex and delicious blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from one of Niagara’s best wineries. I can’t think of a better wine to pair with lamb as well as with grilled steak. Drink: 2011-2015. $19.95 Score: 90/100.
