Is Tina Turner’s wedding dress simply the best? Or not?

The 73-year-old singer who recently tied the knot to long time beau, Erwin Bach, wore a sparkly green and black tulle confection designed by Giorgio Armani. Adding to the surprising bridal colour choice, it appeared that her legendary legs were encased in lace leggings.

While a white wedding gown is not a favourite option for older women or those walking down the aisle for the second or third time, Turner’s dark green gown is dramatic and seems suited for a red carpet than a summer wedding set outdoors in Switzerland.

Also it was reported the bride requested her guests to wear white.

Or could her colour choice be significant to her Buddhist beliefs? The colour green signifies balance and harmony.

Regardless of her reasons, the radiant bride did look gorgeous in green.
