Royal Visit 2016: Kate’s Great Hair 5 Ways

The Duchess of Cambridge’s signature make-up remains a constant – smoky eye, strong brow, a dusting of pink blush and neutral lip. When it comes to her hair however, Kate flexes her style muscles. As she arrives in Victoria, BC on the first day of the Royal Tour of Canada (pictured above), she looks regal with it perfectly pinned up beneath an elaborate hat – note the maple leaf broach. Princess Charlotte looks positively darling with the blue bow in her hair, complimenting – but not matchy-matching – her mum’s choice of hue.

Ah, the famous flowing mane that Royal Watchers (and even haters) have envied. Kate – seen here touring Mission Hill Winery in Kelowna, BC. – is blessed with thick, shiny hair that a dose of bright sunlight shows off. The dark green dress is a striking combination to her brunette colouring.

Traipsing through the Great Bear Rainforest in Bella Bella BC calls for an outdoorsy look. Pinning the crown back says she’s ready to get her hands dirty (well maybe not while wearing that ring), and it’s the right pairing with her safari jacket.

At a reception at Government House in Victoria, Kate opts for chic elegance with an up-do fit for, well, a Duchess.

The half-up hairstyle remains a Kate staple, shown here attending a children’s party for military families in Victoria.  Something about this look, beyond the hair, reminds us of her wedding day – maybe it’s the white dress. Can we add how sweet Princess Charlotte is?
