Bono Says No To OWN Show

Media Mogul Oprah Winfrey has recruited many stars to host their own talk shows on her new network, including Jenny McCarthy, Rosie O’Donnell and Ryan and Tatum O’Neal. She has also enlisted Julia Roberts, Forest Whitaker and Goldie Hawn to develop their own documentaries.

It seemed rational to Oprah to include Bono in her star-studded list as he does great philanthropy work that would make great TV.

Winfrey said, “”I asked Bono, ‘Would you like a TV show?’ I look at everything now through the prism of, ‘This could make a very good TV show!”
