A Younger Man Would Have Passed Out from Boredom

Veteran BBC news anchor David Dimbleby, 71, stayed on-air for 18 straight hours in order to cover the UK’s General Election yesterday. Coverage began at 9:55 p.m. (London time) on May 6th, but it soon became apparent that a hung parliament would derail any chance of a clear-cut result. Dimbleby signed off at 3:40 p.m. this afternoon, still looking sharp and without a single hair out of place.
