Walter Gretzky Opens 55+ Games

72-year-old Walter Gretzy, father of hockey legend, Wayne Getzky, blew away a group of 2,000 people in Brockville’s St. Lawerence College on Wednesday night when he carried the torch for the Canada 55+ Games.
The 20 sporting and games events will include hockey, bowling and bridge to name a few and runs until Sunday afternoon.
The Games president Peter Nordland told The Recorder and Times that the Brockville games are the “largest ever.”
