Sting’s Steamy Sex-Life is Not a Secret

The 59-year-old singer leisurely admits he doesn’t leave the theatrics on the stage; he likes to rock it in the bedroom, too. Married for 18 years to film producer Trudie Styler, Sting explains how having an experimental and playful sex-life is key to keeping the flame burning.  “I don’t think pedestrian sex is very interesting,” he said. “I like to look good. I like her to dress up. I like to dress her up.”

The happy couple has been known to be open about what happens behind closed doors. They have long been rumoured to be practitioners of tantric sex—a practice imbedded in Hinduism, where couples lock into a sexual embrace and make love for hours at a time.

In 2007, the stars revealed their New York apartment to the media, exposing erotic pictures of nude women embellishing their bedroom walls. They once admitted they enjoyed swingers’ parties, but later retracted the statement.

Sting refuses to take his 56-year-old wife for granted. “We love each other—that’s a given—Trudie lights up my world when she comes into a room.”
