Charlie Sheen: Fired
Charlie Sheen has officially been fired from Two and a Half Men, his hit show on CBS . The news doesn’t come as a complete shock considering the actors recent antics.
Warner Brothers sent Sheen an 11-page letter informing him of his termination as well as a detailed description of the circumstances leading up to it. The letter explains that producers have been extremely accommodating of Sheen and his recovery.
Not only has the actor refused help from them repeatedly, he has also made defamatory statements about one of the shows creators, Chuck Lorre. Sheen’s lawyer has called the termination an “absurd and ridiculous” retaliation against Sheen for criticizing Lorre.
Sheen released a statement to TMZ declaring CBS to be in breach of contract. “This is very good news,” said the 45-year-old actor. “It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions.”
