Juno Award’s Top Zoomer Moments

The 40th annual Juno Awards was a spectacular night for Canadian musicians old and new. The show had countless memorable moments. The Zoomer musicians who paved the way for young Canadian superstars today, such as host Drake, were rightfully praised and honoured throughout the night. Click through the slideshow to relive some of our favourite Zoomer moments captured in photos.

1) Neil Young received the award for adult alternative album of the year. The rocker was also honoured with the Allan Waters Humanitarian Prize later in the night to which he gave a very moving speech on philanthropy.

2) Shania Twain, looking as fabulous as ever, took to the stage to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Fellow Zoomer Bryan Adams was on hand to present the songstress with the honour.

3) Robbie Roberston, to the delight of many, to presented the awards 40th anniversary tribute medley.

4) Stars such as Jim Cuddy and Sarah Slean among others paid tribute to musicians before them with renditions of hits from Zoomer cover star Gordon Lightfoot as well as Neil Young.
