Producer Jack Richardson Dies

One of Canada’s leading producers, Jack Richardson has died at the age of 81. Richardson was best known for creating some of Guess Who‘s biggest hits such as These Eyes and American Woman. Richardson also played a part in the careers of several other notable musical talents like Bob Seger and Alice Cooper. Guess Who front man Burton Cummings expressed his sadness and gratitude on his personal blog, “He was a great friend, bright, talented and funny. He taught me infinite amounts about producing and arranging.”
