Tribute Concert Announced For Queen Elizabeth

It seems that everyone wants to be a part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations- even some of the biggest names in music. It was announced today that an array of musical talents will perform on June 4 to commemorate the Queen’s 60th year on the throne. Some of the stars set to hit the stage include Paul McCartney, Elton John, Annie Lennox and there are whisperings that Adele will also join the roster.  Organizer and former member of the boy band Take That Gary Barlow has also communicated that both Princes William and Harry have given a helping hand in choosing the musical acts. Additional acts to join the festivities will be announced in the coming weeks. This special tribute concert will take place around the Queen Victoria Memorial outside of the gates of Buckingham Palace. A ballot allowing 10,000 members of the public to apply for free tickets can be found at the Diamond Jubilee site.
