Don’t Drink and Sleep: Dr. Ruth Releases New Wine with Lower Alcohol Content

Eighty-three-year-old sex guru Dr. Ruth Westheimer doesn’t want us Zoomers to snooze and lose when it comes to the bedroom! The therapist has invented a range of low-alcohol wine called Dr. Ruth’s Vin d’Amour (wine of love), which will makes its American debut in early July. The California-range wine, which will feature her face on the label, will have an alcohol content of just six per cent in order to prevent couples from falling asleep before they’ve had a chance to have sex or – even worse – during sex. It can be purchased at a more-than-affordable price of $7.99 and $9.99 a bottle.

She told the New York Post, “My idea is that just the right amount [of alcohol] will awaken your senses and arouse you.” But Westheimer probably won’t be drinking what she’s selling. She’s not much of an oenophile. “I don’t really drink but I like to see others enjoying it,” she said.
