Toast Prince Charles and Diana’s Nuptials With … A Piece of Toast

We are sure the work that went into Prince Charles and Lady Diana’s big day was no piece of toast. But one thing we could never anticipate was a literal piece of toast from that day being saved for 31 years.

Now, royal watchers can purchase – you guessed it – a piece of toast that one of Prince Charles’ maidservants snuck on the morning of the wedding, bringing a whole new meaning to the word keepsake.

The strange memento will be up for auction at Hansons in Derbyshire for a whopping 500 pounds.

Auctioneer Charles Hanson told reporters, “It could do quite well! We hope worldwide collectors will appreciate this little bygone of Royalist history.”
