Happy Birthday, Julia Child!

One of the greatest chefs of our time, Julia Child, would have been 100 today. Child personified the Zoomer philosophy (before it was conventional) by kicking off her career later in life, saying, “I was 32 when I started cooking. Up until then, I just ate.” She not only brought us delicious, butter-friendly French recipes, the humour with which she delivered her knowledge delighted devoted foodie fans all over the world. Her colourful character also sparked many spoofs. One we will never forget is Canadian comedian Dan Aykroyd’s impression on SNL in 1978. Watch above for a blast from the past.
