Soon to be a Zoomer, Céline Dion, 44, let her hair down for an edgy photo shoot with V magazine this month, revealing a side of herself that is not often shown to the public while posing topless in her Florida home. Dion looks at ease and confident in front of the camera, which supports our theory that self-assurance only grows stronger with age.

In the interview, Dion expresses her love for singer Adele, for her career and the role she is most serious about: motherhood, saying, “I thought I had a life before, but until I was a mom, I had no idea. I’m more grounded now than ever before.” And “There is nothing I can hope and wish for my career: I can just hope to be blessed as a mother for the rest of my life the way I am now. That’s the only nomination I want.”
