Prince Edward and Sophie to Visit Canada

Start tidying. British royalty may be stopping in a town near you. The less-talked-about youngest son of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Edward, and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, will arrive in Canada on Sept. 11 for seven days.

Considered a working visit, the pair will be in Trenton, Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catharines and Midland as well as Iqaluit. Although they have been to Canada a handful of times, this will be their first trip to the North.

The Prince and Sophie serve as colonels-in-chief to a number of Canadian Forces regiments and are members of Canadian charitable organization.
