No matter your age, there is always time to accomplish your dreams. French cyclist Robert Marchand is a perfect example of that. Riding 100 kilometres in four hours, 17 minutes and 27s second at the age of 100. Marchand travelled at an average pace of 23.3 kilometres an hour.

There is no prior record for a centenarian riding this distance, but the French cycling federation head David Lappartient said the governing body will acknowledge his feat.

”He’s an example for humanity. He gives people hope,” said Gerard Mistler.
