Carole ‘horrified’ by rumours she won’t let Prince Charles see grandson

Carole Middleton is “horrified” by suggestions she won’t let Britain’s Prince Charles see his grandson.
The 60-year-old mother of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was reportedly spending so much time with her 19-month-old grandson it had angered the Prince of Wales, although a family friend has insisted she hasn’t been malicious and has only been trying to help the young couple.
The source said: “All Carole has ever wanted was to give as much guidance and help to Kate and George as any other grandmother.”
The royal is believed to be upset at how little he sees grandson Prince George of Cambridge, who is the son of William, Duke of Cambridge, because Carole is always with the youngster.
However, a source close to the family said the businesswoman – who lives with husband Michael, 65, at their £5 million manor house in Berkshire, south east England – would be “horrified” to think she had upset the royal.
The source told the Daily Mail newspaper: ”She’ll be horrified to learn that William’s father is apparently upset because he is not seeing enough of George. She would never want that.”
However, Clarence House told E! News any rumours of upset on Prince Charles’ behalf is untrue, and he “enjoys an excellent relationship” with the toddler.
They said: “We would not comment on the specifics of private arrangements. His Royal Highness enjoys an excellent relationship with his grandson.”
