Prince William and Duchess Catherine to take Princess Charlotte to Amner Hall

Britain’s Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will travel to Amner Hall with Princess Charlotte and Prince George today (05.05.15).
The royal couple are reportedly set to head to their country retreat on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate where they will spend time together for the first time as a family of four, reports HELLO! magazine.
Duchess Catherine, 33, who gave birth to Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana on Saturday (02.05.15), will be joined by her husband Prince William, 32, who is on paternity leave from his helicopter ambulance training, to travel up to their expansive Norfolk property which recently underwent extensive refurbishments, adding a swimming pool, tennis court and conservatory.
The decision to travel to Amner Hall contrasts the days following the birth of Prince George in 2013, during which the Duchess travelled to her parents’ Carole and Michael Middleton’s home in Berkshire.
It is thought the couple are preparing to welcome the grandparents and close friends at the residence over the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, the proud parents have expressed their thanks for all the support they have received following the birth of Princess Charlotte.
A statement from the royal family posted on Twitter said: “The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world.
“It means a great deal to them that so many people have celebrated the arrival of their new daughter.”
