Princess Beatrice to become Princess Charlotte’s godmother?

Princess Beatrice is the favourite to become Princess Charlotte’s godmother.
According to bookmakers Ladbrokes, the 26-year-old royal, who is Prince William’s cousin, is set to be named along with two other woman and three men.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – who welcomed Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana into the world on Saturday (02.05.15) – are also expected to ask Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie, Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips and Hugh van Cutsem, who is a close friend of William, 32.
The royal couple’s siblings, Prince Harry and James and Pippa Middleton, are also set to be named as godparents to the newborn Princess.
Although royal godparents usually have titles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge broke with tradition when choosing them for their 22-month-old son Prince George after his birth in July 2013.
They selected their friend Oliver Baker, Earl Grosvenor, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton their private secretary, the Duchess’ school friend Emilia Jardine-Paterson, William’s cousin Zara Tindall, his friend William van Cutsem and Julia Samuel, who was close to Prince William’s mother, the late Princess Diana.
