Prince Albert rubbishes marriage rumours

Monaco’s Prince Albert has rubbished rumours of a rift between himself and his wife Princess Charlene.
The 57-year-old royal – who married his wife in 2011 and in December 2014 welcomed their twin babies, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques – has rebuffed suggestions that they’re on the cusp of splitting.
He told French publication Nice Matin: “Everything is going wonderfully between Charlene and I.
“I was in Corsica with her … and I don’t think we looked like a couple on the verge of a break up.”
Shortly after giving birth, Princess Charlene – who competed as a swimmer in the Olympics for South Africa – revealed she was a “bit overwhelmed with emotion”.
She said: “At first, I was happy to hear their first cries. I was obviously a bit overwhelmed with emotion. Every second with them is magical. I look forward to spending more time in their presence.
“Watching them grow is wonderful. It changes lives forever.”
The couple had their babies baptised in May, with well-wishers lining the streets to cheer them on and the ceremony broadcast to TV viewers in Monaco.
