Prince Andrew visits BBC studios

Britain’s Prince Andrew has visited the new BBC News Asia studios during a trip to Singapore.
The 55-year-old royal paid a special visit to the premises today (07.08.15) and was given a tour of the new state-of-the-art facilities.
He noted on Twitter: “Impressive new studio @BBCnewsasia with @ricohizon & Sharanjit Leyl #SG50 (sic)”
It seems the visit was a big success as the BBC News Asia Twitter account responded to the Duke of York, saying it was a “pleasure” to host the royal.
They wrote: “It was our pleasure having you! Hope you guys will still be able to enjoy Singapore despite the rain!”
Andrew is in Singapore to mark celebrations for the country’s 50th year of independence.
Yesterday, the royal marked another special occasion – posting a ‘Throwback Thursday’ photo of daughter Princess Beatrice when she was just two weeks old.
The sweet picture, shared on Facebook, was posted as Beatrice prepares to celebrate her 27th birthday on August 8.
