Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s welly wanging competition

Britain’s Princes William and Harry and Duchess Catherine took part in a “welly wanging” contest in London on Monday (26.10.15).
The royals visited the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), during a meeting of the Charities Forum where they took part in the competition, which sees competitors throw a Wellington boot as fast as possible.
William proved victorious in the competition, as he managed to knock the head off a scarecrow, while his wife and brother missed.
The trio were given a 30-minute preview of the latest ‘Shaun The Sheep’ production made by Aardman Animations, called ‘The Farmer’s Llamas!’
David Sproxton, co-founder and executive chairman of Aardman Animations, said after the visit: “We know Prince Charles is a huge fan of ‘Wallace and Gromit’, we’ve spoken to him about that and Prince Harry said his father also loved ‘Chicken Run’ – there’s a bit of heritage there with Aardman and the Royal Family.”
It was a busy day for the royals, who later attended the ‘SPECTRE’ premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
