Prince William’s wedding menu for sale

Prince William and Duchess Catherine’s wedding menu is for sale.
The couple – who married on April 29, 2011 – invited 300 of their closest friends and family to dine with them at Buckingham Palace following their wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey and now a menu card from the event is up for auction.
The opening bid is £650 for the menu, which is printed on thick ivory card with a green border.
William and Catherine’s three-course wedding menu included South Uist salmon, Lyme Bay crab and wild Hebridean langoustines to start with Saddle of North Highland Mey Select organic lamb, Highgrove spring vegetables, English asparagus, Jersey Royal potatoes and sauce Windsor for the main.
It was followed by a trio of Berkshire honey ice cream, sherry trifle and chocolate parfait for dessert.
Earlier this year Catherine and William, who have children Prince George, two and Princess Charlotte, five months, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a swim in the pool at Buckingham Palace.
The couple drove from their Kensington Palace apartment to the pool at Buckingham Palace to enjoy a short dip, when Catherine was almost a week overdue with the couple’s second child.
