Duchess Catherine visits drug addicts

Britain’s Duchess Catherine paid a visit to the Action on Addiction charity in Warminster yesterday (10.12.15).
The 33-year-old royal, who has already carried out two royal engagements this week, called into the organisation’s centre for Addiction Treatment Studies in Wiltshire, England, to meet its staff and discuss how they support people hooked on drugs and booze as well as provide help to their families.
Speaking to programme director Derrick Anderson, according to the Daily Star newspaper, Catherine – who is patron for the charity – said: “I think getting the whole family together is so important. It doesn’t affect just one person.”
Meanwhile, Catherine – who has children George, two, and Charlotte, seven months, with her husband William – has a couple of busy weeks coming up in the run up to Christmas.
The brunette beauty recently announced she will attend the children’s Christmas gathering at the Anna Freud Centre in North London on December 15, where she’ll join in the festivities, tour the centre and see how the children are getting on since she visited the school in September.
Her visit three months ago came just a few weeks after she released a statement saying how she intends to “play a part” in the improvement of mental health services and to address the issues in order to “benefit young people.”
