Prince Charles to be played by Harry Enfield in new comedy

Britain’s Prince Charles will be played by comedian Harry Enfield in a new raunchy comedy.
The 54-year-old funnyman is set to ruffle a few feathers as he takes on the role of the heir to the throne, 67, in Channel 4’s forthcoming controversial show ‘The Windsors’.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: “The series is a wry take on what the soap opera of their lives (and loves) might just be like. Delving behind the headlines and gossip columns, ‘The Windsors’ lets our imaginations run riot in this ludicrous parody.”
Haydn Gwynne will star alongside Harry as she portrays his on-screen second wife Duchess Camilla in the hilarious spoof.
But it won’t all be a barrel of laughs as the skit, set mainly in Kensington Palace, will no doubt spark some controversy with its saucy plotlines including the rumoured romance between Prince Harry (Richard Goulding) and Pippa Middleton (Morgana Robinson).
Duchess Catherine (Louise Ford) and her husband Prince William (Hugh Skinner) will also make an appearance in the upcoming comedy, as will Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie (Ellie White and Celeste Dring).
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Harry has impersonated Prince Charles as he also played a “dopey” version of the royal in BBC Two’s ‘An Evening With Harry and Paul’ last year.
