Prince William and Catherine’s packed itinerary

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a packed itinerary for their India and Bhutan trip.
Prince William and Duchess Catherine will travel to the countries on behalf of the British Government to “contribute to the on-going partnership between Britain and India” and “build on the friendly relations between the UK and Bhutan” and the pair will be kept busy.
Their first day, April 10, will include laying a wreath at the Taj Palace Hotel in memory of the victims of the 2008 terror attacks, watch a cricket match at the Oval Maidan and meet children from slums and attend a fundraiser with Bollywood stars.
Day two will see them meet aspiring youth entrepreneurs in Mumbai, lay a wreath at India Gate war memorial in New Delhi and visit Gandhi Smriti where Mahatma Gandhi spent the final few years of his life.
They will also attend a birthday party for William’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth and are expected to visit the Kaziranga Discovery Centre built by the charity founded by Mark Shand, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall’s late brother.
In Bhutan William and Catherine will enjoy a six-hour hike before returning to Agra in India to visit the Taj Mahal.
The couple will leave their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at home during their visit, which will take place from April 10 to 16.
