Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge remember terrorist victims

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge laid a wreath for the victims of the Mumbai terrorist attack.
The royal couple offered their condolences to the families of those killed in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel siege in 2008 with a beautiful white lily wreath.
A message attached to the wreath read: “In memory of those who lost their lives and those injured in the senseless atrocities at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. William, Catherine.”
During their visit, Duchess Catherine and Prince William met with the hotel’s chef Raghu Deora, who was shot twice during the attack.
He explained: “The Duke asked me what happened to me and I explained how I was shot. He asked me how long I took to recover, and I said six months, with the last operation two years ago.”
Raghu cooked a meal for the royal couple and was asked by Duchess Catherine about the food he chose.
Of the meal he served to the royals, he added: “It is all vegetarian because I was told that was what they preferred.”
