Royals launch mental health campaign

Princes William and Harry, and Duchess Catherine have joined forces to launch a new campaign aiming to change the national conversation on mental wellbeing.
The royal trio took part in a promotional video for their Royal Foundation’s Heads Together initiative, in which they called on people to help end the stigma surrounding mental health.
In the clip, Catherine said: “Mental health is just as important as physical health.”
Harry added: “We can all play our part by talking and listening to each other and helping each other find support.”
William concluded: “Let’s get our heads together and change the conversation on mental health.”
The campaign is next year’s London Marathon’s charity of the year and will work alongside several mental health charities, including Place 2 Be, which Catherine is patron of.
A spokesman for the trio said: “They want the Heads Together campaign to build on the great work that is already being done across the country so that prejudice and fear no longer stand in the way of people getting the help they need.
“They want people to feel much more comfortable with their everyday mental wellbeing and have the practical tools to support their friends and family.”
