Duchess Catherine wants ‘hot summer holiday’

Duchess Catherine wants to go on a “hot summer holiday”.
The 34-year-old royal – who has two-year-old son Prince George and 14-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte with husband Prince William – is said to be keen to have some fun in the sun with her family in the near future.
An insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Kate is uber-keen to get a hot summer holiday.”
The family are set to travel up to Scotland after George’s third birthday next Friday (22.07.16) to visit William’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth, 90, at her Scottish residence Balmoral.
Earlier this month, William and Catherine were invited to visit Canada by the country’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who sent a letter asking them to consider an official trip to the country with their kids.
This comes after the royal couple went on a one-week trip to India in April.
In March, William and Catherine took their children skiing in Courchevel in France and were said to have stayed in the upmarket village in the Les Trois Vallées ski region which is popular with celebrities.
A source said at the time: “‘I saw a beautiful picture on a mobile phone of them enjoying lunch.
“They were just eating, that’s it. It was in a mountain restaurant. I am from Courchevel and I know the mountain behind.”
A message on the Kensington Palace Twitter page read: “This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children have played in the snow.”
