Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit Luton

Prince William and Duchess Catherine will make their first public appearance together in a month in Luton on Wednesday (24.08.16).
Last night the 34-year-old duke flew back to England from Dusseldorf, Germany to be with his wife in the town in Bedfordshire where the royal couple have several engagements to attend to.
First, they will visit young people benefiting from the help of Bute Mills, a facility for youngsters which provides support for those with mental health issues and emotional well-being.
Crowds have already gathered outside the newly reinstated building, which underwent a £3.2 million renovation to greet William and Catherine.
Kensington Palace confirmed on Twitter: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Luton in Bedfordshire for a day of engagements on Wednesday 24th August … During their visit The Duke and Duchess will meet local organisations doing ground-breaking work with young people (sic)”
They will also meet with CHUMS and Our Minds Matter and Luton Council of Faiths and Grassroots.
William and Catherine, also 34, will also present The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to local company Hayward Taylor.
The royal couple’s last engagement together was in Portsmouth on July 24.
The Luton trip comes before they head to Canada next month for a tour of British Columbia.
