The first snowfalls of winter set the stage for a magical new season. Soon decorations and millions of lights brighten the night sky, skates are pulled from storage and dusted off, lists begin to appear and the excitement of celebrations builds with friends and family.

That’s just some of the magical feelings awaiting you at the Collingwood Christmas Market.  With such an incredible selection of vendors you will be able to find that perfect something for everyone on your list! Expect to see delicacies from Collingwood Olive Oil, savoury pies and sauces from Hill & Bay, metal and beadwork from Kate Knoc & K McLean and a plethora of other handmade goodies sure to tickle your senses.

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit with Santa’s real life reindeer-in-training. Be sure to bring the kids by the Town Hall to meet the reindeer.  Their keepers will be on-site as well to answer questions about Santa’s special training techniques as he prepares for the big night.

Follow Santa and the rest of the parade down the street towards the town’s Christmas tree and watch as Santa and the Town of Collingwood celebrate the official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season in Downtown Collingwood.

The day’s activities will end in a bang as fireworks fill the sky marking the official beginning of the holiday season.
