Fairmont’s Santa Suites – Santa’s Home Away From Home

This holiday season, select hotels across the Americas will be host to a Santa Suite, a specially decorated suite or workshop that serves as Santa’s home away from the North Pole. Hotel guests and the general public alike can tour the Santa Suite, each unique to its hotel, with memory-making touches ranging from lavish Christmas décor and guided tours conducted by Santa’s elves, to letter writing stations, cookies and cocoa, and gifts for the children on his “nice list.”

The Explorers’ Club at Fairmont Grand del Mar transforms from an adventure-themed kids’ club to a Winter Wonderland Workshop fit for Santa and his elves. Young explorers will become Santa’s helpers with holiday-themed arts and crafts, gingerbread house making, cookie decorating and more.

For the past two years, from late November through Christmas, Swissôtel Chicago has been Santa’s hotel of choice in Chicago, and the Presidential Suite has been specially-decorated as Santa’s home away from the North Pole. Each year, the Santa Suite welcomes more than 5,000 guests and locals per year to tour and take photos, chat with the elves, write a letter to the man in red, and take home a keepsake ornament.

Visit Santa’s tropical retreat at Fairmont Mayakoba, where the man in red can be found in surf shorts instead of a snowy sleigh. Enjoy holiday music, games and movies; cookie baking; arts and crafts; and more seasonal activities.
