All About Imports

Lou Trottier, Automotive Service Technician

Lou is the owner and operator of All About Imports in Mississauga. For 21 years, they’ve provided professional and ethical automotive repair and maintenance services. Dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction, he treats his customers the way he expects to be treated. “My business philosophy is pretty simple: Treat everyone as I expect to be treated.”

Lou has three full-time apprentices working for him. It’s clear he takes care of his staff and their well-being because in his shop, safety is a top priority. The number 1 lesson he passes on is “how not to hurt themselves.”

Since the beginning of his career, Lou has been a cut above the rest. He received the Ray Thompson award for Outstanding Education Excellence from Centennial College. And as an apprentice with Honda Canada, he achieved the Highest Academic Standing award for that program. When he’s not running his business or sharing his automotive knowledge in his weekly contribution to the Globe and Mail, Lou plays lead guitar in the band Stephen’s Garage.
