Soon, Elora will be filled with the most beautiful music in the world. In its 39th year, North America’s signature music festival, the Elora Festival, will again present a world class experience for music lovers. From Chantal Kreviazuk to Ben Heppner to the Rolston String Quartet, the Elora Festival brings a range of top talent to Elora, the “prettiest town in Ontario.”

From July 13th to 29th the Elora Festival continues its tradition of presenting outstanding vocal, choral and chamber music artists of national and international stature. Elora expects capacity crowds from across Canada (and beyond) as they’ve assembled another exciting lineup!

July 13th
Opening Night Opera Gala

The Festival launches with a gala performance featuring internationally-acclaimed soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian and three soloists from the Canadian Opera Company stage. They are joined by the Festival Orchestra, The Elora Singers and Toronto Mendelssohn Choir to bring Festival patrons a glorious evening of opera favourites. Reception and fireworks to follow!

July 14th
Ben Heppner with the Toronto Mass Choir

Oh Happy Day! Internationally acclaimed Canadian tenor Ben Heppner is joined by Canada’s premier gospel choir, the Toronto Mass Choir, in a joyous celebration of traditional and contemporary gospel music. “Amazing Grace,” “This Little Light of Mine,” “Ain’t Got Time to Die” and, of course, the title song are just a few of the great songs that will be performed.

July 21st
Louise Pitre sings Judy Garland, with The Elora Singers

In her newest show, Canada’s first lady of musical theatre weaves together story and song to explore the music made famous by the incomparable Judy Garland. Treat yourself to memorable show tunes such as “Over the Rainbow,” “The Man That Got Away,” “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows” and “Embraceable You.” In the words of the Chicago Sun-Times, Louise Pitre is “astonishing!”

Chantal Kreviazuk

EVERYONE has heard of Chantal Kreviazuk. She’s an internationally renowned solo artist.  She’s collaborated with Drake, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Kendrick Lamar and Pink. She’s acted in films. She devotes herself to War Child and other charitable causes. But have you seen her perform live? Elora is overjoyed to welcome this JUNO award-winning

Family Series!

New this Festival season, the Family Series has three concerts designed to be enjoyed by ages 0 – 99! There are free pre-concert art activities at 10:00 am followed by the 11:00 performance after which patrons are welcome to enjoy their picnic lunch and tour the Museum for free. Performances include The Shoestring Opera’s “Magic Flute”; Chris McKhool’s “FiddleFire!”; and “How the Gimquat Found Her Song.”
