InnoviCares is a free prescription savings card that helps support how you want to manage your health. The innoviCares card covers a portion of the cost of more than 100 prescription medication brands and is available to all Canadian residents through funding by participating branded pharmaceutical manufacturers. HOW IT WORKS
The innoviCares card pays a products. It can be used with your existing private or public drug plan(s) or on its own if you don’t have insurance. Just present your card along with your prescription to the pharmacist and ask for the brand-name medication. The pharmacy will process your card just like any other drug card.

BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE
There may be instances where pharmacists ask to substitute generic alternatives for the branded product when you’re getting your prescription. If you’d prefer the brand-name product, you can ask for it. Remember: you have the right to choose. The innoviCares card provides you the option to select the original brand medication.
