For over 50 years we have been the premier choice in Ontario for summer courses in visual arts, craft and performing arts.

Whether you’re returning or planning to be with us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you.  Many long-time summer program artists have let us know how much they missed coming to Haliburton last year, confirming the value of escaping to join a creative community for an immersive learning experience like no other.

We’ve created a specially curated selection of in-studio courses in July and August, all located at the Haliburton Campus and Artist Blacksmith studio, just minutes from our main building.   Our faculty members, who are also practicing studio artists, make the quality and unique diversity of our part-time program possible.

We have weekend and weeklong courses for all skill levels.  Explore painting, drawing, jewellery, felting, pottery, mosaics and more.

We invite you to enjoy individual attention in small classes, be inspired by the beautiful Haliburton Highlands landscape, and discover the Sculpture Forest adjacent to the campus.  Rest assured that our in-person studio experiences will adhere to all mandated COVID safety protocols, including reduced maximum numbers of students per class.
