Recipes: 3 Fun & Festive Autumn Cocktails
Here, cocktails inspired by the many comforting tastes of the season.
Tis the season! Autumn is upon us and it’s time to up our cocktail game – considering the holidays and entertaining nights are right around the corner! And, although we mix a mean Gin & Tonic – if we do say so ourselves – we defer to the true mixologists for some fresh inspiration.
We asked the bartenders at the InterContinental Toronto Centre, one of downtown Toronto’s favourite watering holes – it’s where all the TIFF press conferences were held, too, earlier this year, so the lobby was rich with celebs – to give us their secret recipes.
The Inspiration: Along with autumn comes beautiful, warm colours, as well as flavourful fruits and spices – fit for creating fall cocktails that taste as good as the feeling of wearing a sweater on a crisp autumn day. Azure Restaurant & Bar, inside the InterContinental Toronto Centre, has brewed three cocktails inspired by the many comforting tastes of the season. Each cocktail is inspired by autumn ingredients, including fruits such as pomegranates and pears, and spices like ginger, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
