Homemade Herbed Turkey Burgers

Rather than relying on traditional dishes, treat your family to some delicious camp cooking that goes beyond shish kabobs and s’mores. Homemade Herbed Turkey Burgers

Makes four servings.

• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 1/8 cup dried parsley
• 1 pound ground turkey
• 1/2 cup fine, unseasoned bread crumbs
• 2 tablespoons mustard
• 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 egg white
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 4 kaiser rolls, sliced
• 4 tomato slices
• 4 lettuce leaves


1. In a medium bowl, combine the onion, garlic powder, parsley, turkey, breadcrumbs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, egg white, oregano and pepper; blend well.

2. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into patties 1/2 inch thick. Store in Coleman’s 20 can party stacker for cool and safe storage.

3. Set Coleman’s Fold N Go charcoal grill to medium heat. Arrange patties on grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

4. Toast Kaiser rolls to a golden brown. Serve herbed turkey burgers on rolls, topped with tomato and lettuce.
